Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hol Kali (ranked 6877 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tega Adam (ranked 25198 p4p, 0 weight class). Hol Kali could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Tega Adam's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kali thuds his right hand into Adam's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Kali throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Kali connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Adam avoids the body shot from Kali.
Kali has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Kali misses with a series of wild punches.

Kali cracks Adam with a good jab.
Adam is looking to land body kicks.
Adam takes one on the chin but seems OK.

Adam darts in and clinches Kali up against the cage.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Kali comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Adam creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Adam keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Kali's efforts to push away.
Adam is pushing Kali up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.

Adam breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Adam has a takedown stuffed.
Kali lands a jab.
Kali scores with a jab. Adam acknowledges it with a nod of the head.

Adam changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Kali tries to avoid it but Adam manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Kali to the ground. Kali escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Kali throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Adam.
Adam takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Kali tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Adam was well out of range. Poor timing from Kali.

Adam drives through and clinches with Kali against the cage.
Adam is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Hol Kali has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tega Adam.
Adam lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Kali or not.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Adam's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Kali throws a hook but Adam avoids it easily.

Adam turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!

Adam stands up and we're back to a striking position.

Kali wants to stall.

Adam is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Kali gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Adam is trying to pull guard but Kali turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.

Kali trying to control the position from guard on top but Adam is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Adam is on top in guard.

Adam slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Kali definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Kali controls Adam momentarily but Adam frees himself.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Hol Kali will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Adam fails with the takedown.

Adam has closed the distance and engaged Kali in a clinch.
Kali trying to stall but Adam improves his position.

Adam has picked Kali up - he's going for a ride! Adam dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
Kali is trying to control but can't.

Adam is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kali has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Adam is working away from the top position though.

Adam has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Adam postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Kali looks a forlorn figure.

Adam is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Kali has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Adam pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

Adam is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Kali defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.

Adam is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Kali is defending well though. Adam let's go of the attempt for now.

Tega Adam showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Adam dives in and grabs Kali's left leg, looking for a takedown. Kali pushes down on Adam's head and hops out.
Kali is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
