PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Stephen King (ranked 5166 p4p, 549 weight class) and Brook Harris (ranked 7340 p4p, 670 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think King might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Taxi Cab. Brook Harris is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Harris tests King's chin there with a solid looking shot.

It looks like Stephen King has been cut.

Harris clinches up with King and pushes him back against the cage.
Harris lands a left hand.

Harris escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Harris connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused King some visible discomfort.

Harris shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. King is trying to defend but Harris finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Harris really doesn't want to stay on the ground with King. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Stephen King seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
