The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Gwen Towbar and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Charles fails with a takedown attempt.
Klooo darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Lenny Charles's cut is getting worse.
Charles's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Klooo connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Charles scrambles back to his feet.
Klooo shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Charles defends it nicely.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Klooo misses with a takedown attempt - Charles sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Klooo tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Charles avoids it.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Charles escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Charles changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Klooo tries to avoid it but Charles manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Klooo to the ground. Klooo escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
A little jabbing left from Klooo on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Charles shoots in looking for a takedown. Klooo tries to sprawl out of it but Charles keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Klooo manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Klooo shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Charles as he avoids it easily.

Charles blocks a head kick by Klooo.
Charles changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Klooo dives in for a single leg takedown but Charles sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Klooo stuffs the takedown.
Klooo fails with a takedown attempt.
Klooo fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Charles, pushing him back against the cage.
Klooo looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.

Klooo is struggling to control the position.
Klooo fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Charles pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Klooo shoots in looking for a takedown but Charles manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Klooo's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Charles wants to clinch up but Klooo keeps it at a distance.
Klooo keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Charles tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Klooo defends well and Charles ends up having to push Klooo into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Charles leaves Klooo with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

and Charles counters with a stiff right hand.

Charles gets tackled into the cage by Klooo. Klooo maintains the clinch.

Klooo lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.
Klooo tries to circle away but Charles has him pinned against the cage.
Klooo pulls Charles into guard.
Charles in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Klooo. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Charles is working for a kimura but Klooo is defending it quite comfortably.
Klooo is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Charles's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Charles's back!
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Charles is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.

Klooo is trying to stick to Charles's back but Charles is turning into Klooo. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Klooo's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Charles.

Klooo is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Charles is aware though and is defending well.

That was a close second round but I would say that Lenny Charles will probably get the nod.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Charles accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Klooo has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Charles off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.

Horrible takedown attempt by Klooo or perhaps it was just good defense by Charles, which made it look bad.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Lenny Charles.
I think Charles has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
