The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Can punishes Saur's body with a nice straight punch.
Can swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Saur.

Can gets caught flat footed, as Saur shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Saur throwing strikes from guard but Can blocks nicely.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Saur trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.

Saur thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Saur should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Saur is looking to work some ground and pound but Can has wrist control.
Saur throws a big elbow that misses.

Saur drops back looking for a leg! Can is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Can manages to kick Saur off! Saur jumps back into Can's guard.
Can not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Saur drops back, looking for a kneebar! Can looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Can looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Can!

Can knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Saur on the ground.
