And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Roberts Dzerkalis!
The judges for this bout are Darius Henderson, Donatello Bradman and Ben Watson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dzerkalis misses with a takedown attempt
and Pickledoo counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Dzerkalis gets a takedown into half guard.
Dzerkalis prevents Pickledoo from standing back up.
Pickledoo knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Dzerkalis on the ground.
Dzerkalis trying to control from half guard but Pickledoo is working away.
Dzerkalis throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Dzerkalis trying to pass the guard but Pickledoo defending well.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Pickledoo has one foot on Dzerkalis's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.
Dzerkalis misses with a takedown
and Pickledoo cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Pickledoo lands a big right hand that sends Dzerkalis crashing to the mat! Pickledoo stays standing though and waves Dzerkalis back to his feet!
Dzerkalis is rocked!
Roberts Dzerkalis seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Dzerkalis is aggressively charging in as Pickledoo backs up avoiding any damage. Pickledoo tosses out a jab and Dzerkalis runs right into it face first! Dzerkalis is out cold! Pickledoo dropped down on all fours and is barking in Dzerkalis's face like a pit bull in celebration until the ref was finally able to pull him away!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:09 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Bobby Pickledoo!
A relieved looking Bobby Pickledoo thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
