Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Crack Head (ranked 492 p4p, 66 weight class) and Boris Bulletzowich (ranked 1505 p4p, 199 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Crack Head!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Boris Bulletzowich!
The judges for this bout are Bart Greer, Dirk Anderson and Sandra Marshall.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bulletzowich avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Boris Bulletzowich seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Head stuffs the takedown.
Bulletzowich on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Bulletzowich moves out of range as Head strikes.
Bulletzowich has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Bulletzowich shoots and misses
and Head counters with a straight right hand.
Bulletzowich fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Head avoids it really well and circles away.
Crack Head has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Boris Bulletzowich.

Bulletzowich shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Head avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Bulletzowich distracts Head with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Bulletzowich cracks Head with a solid left hand.
Bulletzowich loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Bulletzowich accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Bulletzowich postures up in Head's guard and throws a big left but Head blocks it.
Head knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Bulletzowich on the ground.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Bulletzowich is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Bulletzowich accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Bulletzowich postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Bulletzowich passes Head's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Bulletzowich thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Head's head.
Bulletzowich throwing shots but Head is blocking nicely.

Bulletzowich takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Head keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Bulletzowich wants to pass the guard but Head is defending well.
Bulletzowich not landing any meaningful shots this time.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Bulletzowich lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Bulletzowich lands a nice short elbow.
Head wants to get back to full guard.

Bulletzowich not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Bulletzowich looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Head with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Head on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
Head is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Head has hold of Bulletzowich's hands but Bulletzowich slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

Bulletzowich slips a nice elbow through Head's hands, connecting with Head's forehead.
Bulletzowich working over Head with some ground and pound. Head looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.

Bulletzowich drops an elbow to the side of Head's head.
Head on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Head tries to get out of the position.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Bulletzowich connects with a nice short shot to Head's temple.
Head is staying active underneath Bulletzowich, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Head avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Bulletzowich.
Bulletzowich looks to land a strike but Head avoids it nicely and regains full guard.
Bulletzowich throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Head works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Bulletzowich lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Bulletzowich has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Head wants to sweep but no luck.
Head avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Bulletzowich postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Bulletzowich with a flurry of punches that miss.
Bulletzowich stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Head swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Head looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
Bulletzowich is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.

Head will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Head utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Bulletzowich lands a couple of digs.
Bulletzowich trying to control the position from guard on top but Head is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Bulletzowich passes Head's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Boris Bulletzowich dominated that round.
That's time! Back to the action!

Bulletzowich takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Bulletzowich doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Head connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Bulletzowich darts in looking for a takedown but Head gets double underhooks and turns Bulletzowich into the cage.
Head digs a good hook to Bulletzowich's body.
Bulletzowich misses with a takedown attempt
and Head counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Bulletzowich thinking.
Crack Head has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Boris Bulletzowich.
Head ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Head scores with a crisp jab that stopped Bulletzowich in his tracks.
Head punishes Bulletzowich's body with a nice straight punch.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Head feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Bulletzowich sprawling to the canvas! Bulletzowich rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Head finish him?!


Bulletzowich is rocked!
Crack Head is winning the standup battle so far.
Head weaves into range and cracks Bulletzowich right on the temple with a beautiful overhand right! Bulletzowich goes down! He's out cold! Wow, what a beautiful knockout! Head is strutting round the canvas like a movie star as the camera bulbs flash frantically.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:42 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Crack Head!
Crack Head retains his middleweight title!
