Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mase Force (ranked 268 p4p, 7 weight class) and Vitaly Karelin (ranked 428 p4p, 14 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Karelin throws a body punch but Force moves out of range.

Karelin throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Force stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Karelin's coach down at LOD London BALLS OF STEEL was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Karelin's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That was a close round but I would say that Mase Force will probably get the nod.
