Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Mason Reilly (ranked 25378 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gero Hemmingway (ranked 6312 p4p, 510 weight class). Hemmingway is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Kids with Guns - Gorillaz. Mason Reilly has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

It looks like Mason Reilly has been cut.

and Reilly counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Reilly.

and Reilly makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Hemmingway really felt that one!

and Reilly counters with a nice double leg into side control. Hemmingway won't be happy with that.
Hemmingway pushes Reilly away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Reilly gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Hemmingway does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Reilly attempts a counter takedown but Hemmingway avoids it well and moves away.
