The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Beaulieu throws a right and a left that Franks avoids nicely.
No joy there for Beaulieu, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Franks fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Beaulieu manages to avoid it.
Beaulieu throws a series of punches but Franks avoids them all with ease.
Franks connects with a body shot that sends Beaulieu's belly button to the back.
Beaulieu moves out of range as Franks strikes.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Franks, as that shot connected.
Franks lands a nice hook to Beaulieu's body. Beaulieu takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Franks digs a good body shot into Beaulieu's ribs.
Franks moves into range and connects with a jab.
Franks tests Beaulieu's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Franks wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Donk. Franks catches Beaulieu right on the button with a cross.
Franks thuds a left hand into Beaulieu's body.
Beaulieu throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Franks connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Beaulieu is breathing heavily.
Franks uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Franks is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
Franks lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.

Beaulieu is rocked!

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Franks lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
A short uppercut from Franks.
A short right from Franks.
A shot in the inside from Franks.

Franks breaks from the clinch.
Franks slips a straight right by Beaulieu.

Franks has managed to clinch.
Franks lands a body shot in the clinch.
Franks pushes Beaulieu back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Franks throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.

Franks breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Franks connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Franks fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Beaulieu looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Franks connects with a single shot there.
Franks scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Franks thuds his right hand into Beaulieu's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Oh Beaulieu is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Franks connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Beaulieu momentarily.
Franks dances in with a quick combination. Beaulieu is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Franks snaps Beaulieu's head back. Beaulieu stumbles backwards against the cage. Franks steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Beaulieu's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Beaulieu just didn't come prepared.
