Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cedrick Callahan (ranked 7816 p4p, 0 weight class) and Keshi Kerosha (ranked 25564 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Cedrick Callahan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Keshi Kerosha!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Kenichi Hosakawa.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kerosha lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Kerosha looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Kerosha should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Callahan's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

Kerosha is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.

That was a close round but I would say that Cedrick Callahan will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Callahan creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Kerosha sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Callahan is looking to take a break and control but Kerosha is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Callahan is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Kerosha's shoulder. That is not cool.
Callahan throws an elbow but Kerosha slips to the side and avoids it well.
Callahan knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Kerosha on the ground.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Callahan throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Kerosha's coach down at Lock and Roll Gym was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Kerosha's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

Kerosha changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Callahan tries to avoid it but Kerosha manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Callahan to the ground. Callahan escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
