Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ignacio Crosby (ranked 9430 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aldo Shupe (ranked 9685 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Micheangelo Fripello and Colin Fray.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shupe feints a jab promting Crosby to slip. Shupe then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Crosby slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Shupe closes the distance and lands a one-two.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Shupe is defended easily by Crosby.
A head kick misses from Shupe.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A combination from Shupe does no damage.
Crosby is looking for a counter combo.

Shupe has Crosby up against the cage in a clinch.
Shupe has Crosby pressed against the cage.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Crosby is trying to break the clinch but Shupe is controlling him.
Shupe jumps guard but Crosby turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Crosby's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

Shupe pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Shupe throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Crosby tries to counter with a takedown but Shupe is quick to defend against it.

Shupe closes the distance and clinches.

Shupe looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Crosby is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Shupe.
Ignacio Crosby has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Aldo Shupe.

Crosby moves into the clinch.

Crosby wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Shupe tries to land a knee to the head but Crosby blocks with his arms.
Crosby wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Shupe has him pressed against the cage.
Shupe lands a nice uppercut.
Shupe prevents the takedown attempt.
Crosby has had enough of the clinch but Shupe keeps him there for the moment.
Crosby wants to take the fight to the mat but Shupe manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Shupe lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Crosby is trying to break free.
Shupe tries to pull guard but Crosby won't allow it.

Shupe ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Shupe no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Crosby is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Shupe throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Crosby escapes and throws Shupe's legs to the side, diving into side control!

Crosby tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.

Crosby lands a decent elbow from side control.

Crosby is working to tighten his grip on Shupe's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Shupe has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Crosby is really squeezing tight and eventually Shupe passes out! Crosby breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
