Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ethan Adams (ranked 9154 p4p, 780 weight class) and Wayne Rosenberg (ranked 5929 p4p, 650 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Rosenberg closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the ropes.
Rosenberg misses with a short punch on the inside.

Rosenberg has a couple of punches blocked by Adams.
Rosenberg tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Adams's elbow.
Rosenberg misses with a hook to the ribs.
Rosenberg struggles to land a body shot inside as Adams controls his hands.
Rosenberg lands with a short shot to the head.
Adams misses with some punches.
Adams blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Rosenberg throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Adams tries for a takedown. No joy.
Rosenberg looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Rosenberg is pressed up against the ropes. Adams has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Rosenberg down to the mat. Rosenberg avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Adams looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Adams takes one to the chin there.

It looks like Ethan Adams has been cut.

Adams bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Rosenberg tries to bench press Adams off him but Adams keeps the position.
Adams in side control lands a decent elbow.
Rosenberg is working to avoid the ground and pound but Adams connects with a decent elbow.
Adams postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Adams throws an elbow but Rosenberg slips to the side and avoids it well.
Adams just content to control the position.
Rosenberg really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Adams. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Rosenberg avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Adams.

Adams stands up.

Rosenberg moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Rosenberg lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Adams closes this distance looking for a takedown but Rosenberg circles away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ethan Adams. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Adams walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

Adams closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Adams has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Rosenberg is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Adams yanks on the arm and Rosenberg is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Adams.
