Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Tod Valenzuela (ranked 25506 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sidusu Teloshi (ranked 4287 p4p, 0 weight class). Sidusu Teloshi has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Tod Valenzuela's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Tod Valenzuela!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Sidusu Teloshi!
The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Yukihiro Shimada.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
That kick from Teloshi tenderised Valenzuela's leg. Valenzuela is trying to keep his angry face on.
Teloshi keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Teloshi wants to counter the offense by Valenzuela and move into the clinch position.
Teloshi shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Valenzuela defends it nicely.

Teloshi closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Valenzuela to the mat! Valenzuela manages to get full guard.
Teloshi wants to control from the top but Valenzuela keeps moving.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Teloshi gets to his feet. Valenzuela looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Teloshi shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Valenzuela as he jumps to the side.

and Teloshi counters with a big head kick but Valenzuela shrugs it off.

Teloshi clinches up with Valenzuela and pushes him back against the cage.
Oh Valenzuela is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
A bit of stalling here from Teloshi.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Teloshi takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
Teloshi receives a warning from the referee for stalling.
Valenzuela seems to have got his legs back now.

Teloshi jumps guard but Valenzuela turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Teloshi is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

Valenzuela breaks the clinch.
Valenzuela throws a right hand that Teloshi ducks under and follows up with a left that Teloshi also avoids with ease.
Teloshi closes this distance looking for a takedown but Valenzuela circles away.
Valenzuela tries to score a power double leg takedown but Teloshi sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Valenzuela somewhat.

Valenzuela shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Teloshi is trying to defend but Valenzuela finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Teloshi wants to improve his position but Valenzuela is controlling well.
Valenzuela really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Valenzuela darts in looking for a takedown but Teloshi gets double underhooks and turns Valenzuela into the cage.

Valenzuela is trying to force a seperation but Teloshi has the dominant position.
Teloshi has Valenzuela pressed against the cage, preventing Valenzuela from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Valenzuela closes the distance and clinches up with Teloshi, looking for a takedown. Valenzuela pushes Teloshi against the cage but Teloshi circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Teloshi dives in for a single leg takedown but Valenzuela sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Valenzuela.
Valenzuela misses with a takedown attempt - Teloshi sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Sidusu Teloshi will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Valenzuela shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Teloshi pinned against the cage. Teloshi gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Teloshi feints and as Valenzuela raises his hands in defense, Teloshi changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Teloshi is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Sidusu Teloshi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Valenzuela shoots in and bounces Teloshi off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Teloshi is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

Valenzuela closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Teloshi's guard.
Teloshi wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!


A telegraphed takedown attempt from Valenzuela is defended easily by Teloshi.
Teloshi looks to land a combination. Valenzuela sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Teloshi leaves Valenzuela with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Valenzuela looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Teloshi is fending him off so far but Valenzuela persists. Nope, Teloshi circles away and we're back to standing.

I would just about give that final round to Sidusu Teloshi.
I've got Teloshi winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
