Adrian Silver struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 136.0lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silver throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

Quid clinches with his opponent.
Quid slowing the pace effectively.
Quid connects with a nasty looking knee right to Silver's face.

It looks like Adrian Silver has been cut.
Quid looking to throw knees to the head but Silver is blocking nicely.

Silver's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Silver walks into a straight right hand from Quid.

Silver shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Silver was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Quid is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

Quid has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Silver is working away from the top position though.

That was a close round but I would say that Johnny Quid will probably get the nod.

Silver darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Quid is trying to control but can't.
Quid really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Silver not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Silver thows a big elbow that misses.
Quid looking to control.
Silver trying to stand up but can't free himself from Quid's guard.
Silver is fighting to break Quid's control of his arms but Quid is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Silver in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

Quid pulls Silver in close to his closed guard and prevents Silver from doing any damage or advancing position.
Quid controls Silver momentarily but Silver frees himself.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Silver takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Silver just misses with a punch to the body.
Silver gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Quid moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.

Silver tries to close the distance and clinch up but Quid swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Quid drives through and clinches with Silver against the cage.
Silver tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Quid smiles and moves away.
Nice uppercut lands for Quid. That snapped Silver's head back.
Silver takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Silver is breathing heavily.
Silver shoots for a takedown but Quid saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Silver with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Quid to score with a decent uppercut.
Quid is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Silver takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Quid connects with a body shot.
Quid steps into range and cracks Silver with a monster punch that buckles his knees! Silver flops backwards and Quid dives into his guard looking to finish!

Silver is rocked!
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Quid gets to his feet. Silver looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Silver is still on wobbly legs! Can Quid finish him?
Silver looks up at the clock. Bad move! Quid lands a right hand from hell, dropping Silver. Quid pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.
