Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Deal Damatter!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Damatter misses with a straight right.
Turner shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Damatter as he jumps to the side.
Turner throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.

Damatter lands a with a good body shot.
Bill Turner seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Turner has a takedown stuffed.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Damatter can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Turner is looking to escape.
Turner takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
Damatter throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Damatter has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Turner is bucking up trying to escape but Damatter cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

Damatter has hold of Turner's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Turner manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Turner is desperately trying to improve his position but Damatter has a good base and remains in mount.

Turner is in all sorts of trouble here.

Turner tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
A head kick misses from Turner.
Damatter scores with a jab to the jaw.
Turner throws a sloppy head kick and Damatter moves out of range easily.
Damatter uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Turner has time to react.
Turner shoots and misses
and Damatter counters with a straight right hand.


It looks like Bill Turner has been cut.

and Damatter counters with a single leg into guard. Turner didn't expect that.

Damatter decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Turner, up you get!

Damatter closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

and Damatter counters into the clinch. Nicely done.

Turner misses with a short punch on the inside.
Turner wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Damatter has him pressed against the cage.
Turner tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Damatter manages to break the clinch.
Damatter lands the left hand.
Damatter avoids the head kick by Turner.

Damatter tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Turner was well out of range. Poor timing from Damatter.
Turner shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Damatter decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Turner's guard.

Turner escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Damatter gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Damatter is pushing down on Turner's leg trying to pass to half guard. Turner is fighting to maintain full guard but Damatter has managed to sneak the leg through.
Turner wants to get back to full guard.
Damatter is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Turner!
Damatter prevents Turner from getting the reversal.

Damatter is working close to his opponent, looking to work a submission by the looks of things. Oh, he's managed to get a guillotine from mount as his opponent reached up! That looks tiiiiight! Will he tap? YES, he's tapped! Impressive submission by Damatter!
