Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Howard Blanchard (ranked 25571 p4p, 0 weight class) and Entropy Tango (ranked 4192 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Tango throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Blanchard tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Tango is in Blanchard's guard.

Tango postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Blanchard is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Tango, into his guard.

Tango has momentary wrist control but Blanchard slips an elbow through the middle.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Tango pulls Blanchard in close to prevent any damage.

Tango wants to sweep but no luck.
Blanchard cracks Tango with a solid left hand.

Tango is looking for a triangle but Blanchard pushes his legs off easily.
Tango is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Blanchard is controlling him.

Blanchard gets to his feet. Tango looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Blanchard is looking to clinch.

Tango shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Tango showed some decent athleticism there.

Blanchard kicks Tango off and gets back to his feet.

Tango moves into the clinch successfully.

Tango breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

This has been an exciting period of action!

Tango darts in and clinches Blanchard up against the cage.

Tango is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Blanchard can't fight it off and eventually Tango manages to take the fight to the floor. Blanchard looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Blanchard seems keen to control Tango's posture.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Blanchard has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Tango is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position.
Blanchard drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Tango gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Tango wants the takedown. Blanchard is fighting it off but Tango persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Blanchard's guard against the cage.

Blanchard has his feet on Tango's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.
The fight stays on the outside here - Blanchard looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Tango lands a two punch combo.

It looks like Howard Blanchard has been cut.

Blanchard tries to clinch up but Tango circles away and keeps his distance.
Tango motions for Blanchard to come forward. Tango throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Blanchard tries to close the distance and clinch but Tango swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Tango avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Tango throws a powerful right kick. Blanchard tried to block low but the kick was high! Blanchard was taken right off of his feet! Tango jumps in to finish the job and the ref tackles him! The fight is over!
