Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Keijo Lopetus (ranked 581 p4p, 68 weight class) and Grin Ribber (ranked 709 p4p, 80 weight class). Lopetus comes to the cage accompanied by For Heavy Metal we will die!. Ribber has chosen Ay Ay Ay as his entrance music. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Keijo Lopetus!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 31 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Grin Ribber!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ribber misses the jab.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Ribber has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

It seemed like Ribber was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

That was a close second round but I would say that Keijo Lopetus will probably get the nod.

Lopetus lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
