The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Noisewater circles away from the clinch attempt.
Navarro closes the distance but Noisewater moves to the side
and Noisewater counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Noisewater is controlling the pace.
Noisewater passes to side control.
Noisewater controlling the position from side mount.
Noisewater has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Navarro tries to escape but Noisewater is in control.

Navarro really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Noisewater. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Noisewater is working to tighten his grip on Navarro's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Navarro has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Noisewater is really squeezing tight and eventually Navarro passes out! Noisewater breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
