The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Larock fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Hobbs avoids it really well and circles away.

Hobbs is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Larock pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Hobbs jumps guard but Larock stands there with Hobbs around his waist. Hobbs gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

That was a close round but I would say that Stevie Hobbs will probably get the nod.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Hobbs accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Larock is on top in guard.

Larock is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Hobbs has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Hobbs!
