The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Punzo misses with a jab, cross combination.
Punzo stalks McTavish and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into McTavish's face. McTavish staggers backwards, shaken.
Alessandro Punzo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Punzo misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
McTavish shoots in but no luck this time.
Punzo throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
McTavish moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Punzo looks winded!
McTavish shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Punzo napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
McTavish connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Punzo some visible discomfort.
McTavish is staying tight to Punzo's torso, preventing him from escaping.
Punzo taking a bit of punishment here - McTavish scoring with strikes.
McTavish has hold of Punzo's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Punzo tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - McTavish cranks the arm and Punzo screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Punzo, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.

Hamish McTavish decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
