The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tsuyoshi lands a head kick!
Tsuyoshi has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Trenchard is landing a low percentage of strikes.

Tsuyoshi drops Trenchard with a beautiful combination! Trenchard stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Tsuyoshi is looking for the KO!

Trenchard is rocked!

It looks like Jon Trenchard has been cut.
Trenchard misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Tsuyoshi looks like he wanted to counter with a high kick but didn't throw it.
Oh Trenchard is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Tsuyoshi defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Trenchard.
Trenchard tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Trenchard tries to close the distance and clinch up but Tsuyoshi swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Tsuyoshi appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.
A head kick misses from Trenchard.
Trenchard misses with a takedown

and Tsuyoshi counters with a nice right hand that sends Trenchard toppling to the canvas! Trenchard scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Tsuyoshi finish him?!
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jon Trenchard. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Tsuyoshi lands with a precision combination! Left, right, uppercut and Trenchard falls flat on his face, eyes wide open but he's out!
