PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Magomedkhan Gamztkhanov (ranked 3915 p4p, 426 weight class) and Magnus Burnside (ranked 4867 p4p, 505 weight class). Gamztkhanov's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Crowbar - Planets Collide. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gamztkhanov takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Burnside has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Burnside moves out of range as Gamztkhanov strikes.
Burnside misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Burnside moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.

Burnside shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Gamztkhanov eats them both and turns towards Burnside to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Gamztkhanov clinches up with Burnside and pushes him back against the cage.

Gamztkhanov has hold of one of Burnside's legs. Burnside is fighting the takedown attempt but Gamztkhanov gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.

A very excited looking Magomedkhan Gamztkhanov rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
