Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Joshua Chandler!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kagor Vital!
The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Joseph Jones and Bruno Lombardi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vital moves out of range of the body kick from Chandler.
Chandler throws an off balance right hand
and Vital counters with a stiff right hand.
A head kick misses from Chandler.
Vital fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Vital lands a nice looking body kick.
Chandler misses with a double jab
and Vital connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Chandler throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Chandler throws a poor cross that misses
enabling Vital to counter with a crisp jab.
Chandler takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Chandler is breathing heavily.
Chandler tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Vital defends well and Chandler ends up having to push Vital into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Vital thows a body kick. Chandler tries to catch it but that hurt him.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Vital lands a big head kick that sends Chandler tumbling to the mat! Vital takes a step backwards and waves Chandler back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Chandler is rocked!
Vital throws a quick head kick that knocks Chandler silly! This fight is all over! What a finish! Vital is up on the cage, taking in the applause from the crowd.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:13 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Kagor Vital!
