Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Edmond Moore (ranked 4699 p4p, 419 weight class) and Harry Wilson (ranked 7191 p4p, 530 weight class). Harry Wilson will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Edmond Moore!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Harry Wilson!
The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Colin Fray and Micheangelo Fripello.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Wilson is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Moore's half guard.
Wilson wants to control but Moore is keeping him busy.

Wilson is working for a kimura but Moore is defending it quite comfortably.

Wilson is looking for a kimura but Moore is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Wilson to get the leverage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Moore is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Wilson is trying to control. Moore wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Wilson working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.

Moore looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Wilson wants to pass the guard but Moore is keeping the position.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

Wilson closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Moore to the mat! Moore manages to get full guard.

Moore looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Wilson has picked Moore up and slammed him! Moore can't keep hold of the triangle and Wilson manages to pass to side control!
Moore is looking to regain half guard here but Wilson keeps moving and retains side control.

Wilson wants to lay and pray for a moment but Moore keeps working.
Moore prevents Wilson from moving into mount.
Moore manages to work his way to half guard, despite Wilson's best efforts.
Moore wants to improve his position but Wilson is controlling well.
The fighters are battling for position here. Moore manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Wilson postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Moore is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Still in half guard, Moore seems content to control.
Wilson keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.

Moore is working for a submission of some sort.
Wilson pushes Moore off looking to stand but Moore dives back in and keeps control.

Moore seems to be looking for submissions.

Moore is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Wilson is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Moore's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Moore's back!

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.



Wilson shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Moore manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Moore is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Wilson defends well.

Wilson throws a strike but Moore avoids it easily and moves to full guard.
Wilson passes Moore's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Moore slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.

Moore is looking for a triangle but Wilson pushes his legs off easily.

Moore escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Wilson gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Wilson trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Moore manages to land a sweep and now he's on top!

Wilson throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Moore escapes and throws Wilson's legs to the side, diving into side control!

Moore goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Wilson rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Moore's guard! Nice work there by Wilson!
Wilson wants to control from the top but Moore keeps moving.
Wilson must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Moore is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Harry Wilson showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!


Moore closes the distance and clinches up with Wilson, looking for a takedown. Moore pushes Wilson against the cage but Wilson circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Wilson shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Wilson was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Wilson lands with some strikes.

Moore looking for submissions off his back.
Wilson looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Moore with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Moore is not content to let Wilson control the position.

Moore is in all sorts of trouble here.
Moore has worked his way to half guard, taking advantage of Wilson's lack of action.
Wilson is keen to just control but Moore is a slippery customer.
Moore manages to get to full guard.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Wilson won't allow Moore to sweep him here.

Moore manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Wilson manages to get himself to full guard.

Edmond Moore has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Harry Wilson is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

Harry Wilson comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Wilson has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
