The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Azzaroni clinches with his opponent.
Azzaroni lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.

Azzaroni manages to break the clinch.
Phoenix misses with a wild body shot.
A countering left hand to the body from Azzaroni misses.
Phoenix misses with a double jab
and Azzaroni counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Azzaroni's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Phoenix connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Azzaroni scrambles back to his feet.
Paul Phoenix seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Phoenix throws a right and a left that both miss.
Azzaroni lands a lovely overhand right.
No joy there for Phoenix , who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Phoenix lands a slapping body shot.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Phoenix !
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Azzaroni clinches up with Phoenix and pushes him back against the cage.

Azzaroni manages to break the clinch.
A big left from Azzaroni misses.
Phoenix misses with a double jab.
Azzaroni swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Phoenix throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

and Azzaroni counters with a crisp right hand that drops Phoenix ! Azzaroni lets Phoenix back up to his feet, looking for a finish!

Phoenix is rocked!
Azzaroni ducks down and throws a big overhand right - it lands flush on the jaw, knocking Phoenix out cold! The fight is over!
