The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Tarja Halkonen and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Adams shoots in and drives through. Van De Riet sprawls well.
Van De Riet looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Adams uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Van De Riet.
Van De Riet slaps away a takedown attempt from Adams, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Van De Riet swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Adams is defended easily by Van De Riet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ethan Adams. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Van De Riet misses with a looping right.
Van De Riet lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Adams at a distance.
Adams fails to land the takedown.
Van De Riet lands a really nice looking cross but Adams seems unphased.
It looks like Ethan Adams has been cut.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Adams lifts his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick.
Adams has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Van De Riet finds it's way round the side to connect with Adams's head.

Van De Riet fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Lars Van De Riet is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Van De Riet misses with a body shot.
Van De Riet looks to throw the jab but Adams is out of range.
As Van De Riet looks to move away, Adams throws a big counter combo but Van De Riet just gets out of the way.
Van De Riet lands a jab to the head.
Van De Riet misses with a hook.
The fight stays on the outside here - Adams looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Van De Riet defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Adams.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Van De Riet, as that shot connected.
The crowd cheers as Van De Riet lands an impressive looking overhand right. Adams doesn't seem phased though.
Nice takedown defense from Van De Riet. No joy for Adams on that attempt.
Adams is breathing heavily.
Van De Riet throws a hook but Adams blocks it.
Adams gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Van De Riet counters with a crisp right hand that drops Adams! Van De Riet lets Adams back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
Adams is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Adams shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Van De Riet as he avoids it easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Van De Riet steps in with a hook that catches Adams right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Van De Riet follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Adams looks absolutely devastated.
