The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Drake takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Carsara ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Drake takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.

It looks like Jerry Drake has been cut.
Drake moves in looking to clinch but Carsara pushes him off.
Drake ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Carsara has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Drake slips under a jab from Carsara.
Drake feints a jab promting Carsara to slip. Drake then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Carsara slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Carsara throws an overhand right that lands on Drake's shoulder, as Drake tries to avoid the shot.

Fausto Carsara seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Drake misses with a hook.
Carsara walks into a stiff left hand from Drake.
Carsara misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Drake.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Good exchange - Carsara coming out on top.
Drake uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Carsara.

Carsara feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Drake sprawling to the canvas! Drake rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Carsara finish him?!

Oh Drake is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
A big left from Drake misses.
Drake glances at the clock... BAM! Carsara nails him with a big right hand! A momentary lapse in concentration sends Drake crashing to the mat! The referee steps in and this one is over! Damn, Drake is out of it, he thinks the ref is his opponent!
