Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Josh Wade (ranked 1892 p4p, 245 weight class) and Anthony Johnson (ranked 1792 p4p, 235 weight class). Wade kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is 2Pac - Hail Mary. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson throws a body punch but Wade moves out of range.
Wade has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Wade throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Johnson tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Wade is in Johnson's guard.
Wade tries to free his leg and advance position but Johnson is retaining full guard.
Wade is pushing down on Johnson's leg trying to pass to half guard. Johnson is fighting to maintain full guard but Wade has managed to sneak the leg through.

Johnson tries to bum rush Wade with a series of wild strikes but Wade uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Wade shoots in for a takedown but Johnson shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Johnson lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Wade circles away quickly and effectively.

Johnson feints a jab promting Wade to slip. Johnson then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Wade slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

Johnson sends Wade crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Johnson is motioning to the referee to let Wade up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Oh Wade is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Johnson closes the distance and lands a brutal uppercut that knocks Wade out! We're looking at the replay now - he was out before he hit the floor!
