Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mack Mythos (ranked 3137 p4p, 380 weight class) and Uri Haber (ranked 3378 p4p, 401 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Mack Mythos!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 10 - 2, fighting out of London, Uri Haber!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Daniel Bishop and William Gold.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mythos stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Haber.
Mythos jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Haber, right into the meat.
Uri Haber seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mythos fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Haber manages to avoid it.
Mythos misses with the combination.
Haber throws a jab when Mythos was well out of range.
Haber misses the shot to the body.
Haber misses with an uppercut.

Haber shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Mythos is trying to defend but Haber finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Haber thows a huge punch but Mythos dodges it nicely.

Mythos is looking to control Haber's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Mythos avoid being mounted?

Haber takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

Haber is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Mythos defends it well.

Haber is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Haber has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Haber is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Haber wants to take a breather but Mythos is having none of it.

Haber prevents Mythos from improving his position.
Haber thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Haber winds up and cracks Mythos with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

Mythos is defending against the submission attempts here by Haber.
Haber thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Mythos's head.
Mythos desperately trying to maintain half guard.

Haber looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
Haber looking to sit in guard and control but Mythos gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.


Haber had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Mythos defends it easily.

Haber has his foot on Mythos's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Mythos works his way back into a safe position though.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Haber looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Haber pulls Mythos in to control the position.

Haber has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Mythos can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Mythos avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Haber is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Mythos tries to free his leg and advance position but Haber is retaining full guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Uri Haber dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Mythos takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Haber changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Mythos swings widly with a right hand
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Haber looks for the body kick but Mythos saw that one coming.
Mythos throws a hook to the side of Haber's head but Haber sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Mythos throws a poor cross that misses
and Haber counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Mythos throws the left hand but Haber avoids the punch easily.

Mythos has taken the fight to the clinch.
Mythos blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Mythos lands with a short shot to the head.
The referee calls for Mythos to work.
Mythos blocks a body shot from Haber.
Haber doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Haber fails to land with a short punch on the inside.

Mythos escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Haber avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Mythos's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Haber connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Mythos scrambles back to his feet.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Mythos takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Mythos bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Haber's head.
Haber throws an overhand right that lands on Mythos's shoulder, as Mythos tries to avoid the shot.
Haber lands a nice looking body shot.
Mythos throws a lazy uppercut
and Haber cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Mythos moves out of range of the body kick.
A little feinted left hand from Mythos on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Haber swats away the attempt to clinch by Mythos.
Haber throws a good cross that connects.
Mythos darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Haber moves out of range as Mythos strikes.
Mythos scores with a one two! Haber had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Mythos will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
A little jabbing left from Haber on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Mythos takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.


Mythos is rocked!

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Mythos misses with a body shot
and Haber counters with a massive hook, right on the button! He's out cold! Damn, that was naaaaaasty! Hopefully he'll be OK.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:12 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Uri Haber!
Uri Haber was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
