The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Toole Jr steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Jackson.
Jackson throws a series of strikes that have Toole Jr backpedaling.

Toole Jr unleashes a big counter combination but Jackson bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.

I was talking to Jackson's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

Jackson's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Toole Jr darts in and clinches Jackson up against the cage.

As Jackson backs off Toole Jr throws a huge counter combo but Jackson manages to avoid it all.

Jackson lands a left and a right that send Toole Jr crashing to the mat, dazed. Jackson thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Toole Jr moves in looking to clinch but Jackson pushes him off.
Toole Jr is still on wobbly legs! Can Jackson finish him?
Jackson throws a hook to the side of Toole Jr's head but Toole Jr sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Jackson jabs Toole Jr right on the nose. Toole Jr blinks but takes it well.

Joseph Jackson decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
