Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Mats Sundin!
The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Reed Andrews and Alyssa Summers.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sundin shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Winters as he jumps to the side.

Sundin gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Sundin is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
Winters with a flurry of punches that miss.
Winters looking to pass the guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Sundin looking to control but Winters passes into half guard.
Sundin slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Sundin keeping moving, preventing Winters from controlling successfully.
Winters knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Sundin on the ground.

Winters would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Winters is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Winters stopping the sweep attempt from Sundin.
Winters tries to free his leg and advance position but Sundin is retaining full guard.
Sundin wants to sweep here but Winters controlling him for the moment.

Winters stays in close to Sundin's body and controls the position.

Sundin working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Winters doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Winters manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Sundin pushes a forearm under Winters's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Winters is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
