Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Leeland Lillard (ranked 762 p4p, 116 weight class) and Ian Smith (ranked 907 p4p, 136 weight class). Smith has chosen Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap by AC/DC as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lillard swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Lillard ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Smith moves away.
Lillard tried to score with a low kick but Smith checks it.
Smith lunges at Lillard with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Lillard's hand.
Smith steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Lillard.
Smith looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Lillard is fending him off so far but Smith persists. Nope, Lillard circles away and we're back to standing.

We've been informed that Smith has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

That was a close round but I would say that Leeland Lillard will probably get the nod.

Lillard circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Smith drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Lillard follows Smith to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!
