Coming up we have a light heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Hadi Ozturk (ranked 4580 p4p, 534 weight class) and Armando Elcock (ranked 1926 p4p, 266 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Kenichi Hosakawa.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A nice inside leg kick there by Elcock. That's going to slow Ozturk down.
Ozturk checks a low kick from Elcock.
A counter left hand to the body from Ozturk misses its target.

and Elcock counters with a nice body kick.
Ozturk tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Elcock was well out of range. Poor timing from Ozturk.
Ozturk avoids the head kick by Elcock.
Elcock takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Ozturk connects with a leg kick. Elcock looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Elcock throws a sloppy head kick
and Ozturk cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Elcock's coach down at Midnight MMA was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Elcock's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Ozturk throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Elcock throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Ozturk connects with a leg kick. Elcock looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.

Ozturk connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
A decent looking cross lands there for Elcock.

Ozturk appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick.

Ozturk tries to close the distance and clinch but Elcock swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

That was a close round but I would say that Hadi Ozturk will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Ozturk thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Elcock if he has to take too many more of those.

Elcock misses with an uppercut. Ozturk saw that one coming.

Elcock thows a body kick. Ozturk tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Ozturk throws a sloppy head kick and Elcock moves out of range easily.

Ouch! a nice leg kick from Elcock, right into the meat.
Ozturk takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.

Elcock pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Ozturk misses the shot to the body.

Ozturk takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Elcock throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Ozturk counters with a nice low kick that buckles Elcock's knee momentarily.

Ozturk drops a shoulder and throws a biiiig uppercut that drops Elcock onto his butt! Elcock pops straight back to his feet to convince the referee that he's OK to continue.

It looks like Armando Elcock has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

and Ozturk makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Nice body kick there by Ozturk.
Elcock is breathing heavily.

and Ozturk counters quickly with a head kick that drops Elcock to the mat! The referee starts the count at 3 - will Elcock be able to get back to his feet in time? 4,5,6, he's up. He looks OK so we'll continue the action!

That's time! Back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Elcock glances at the clock... BAM! Ozturk nails him with a big right hand! A momentary lapse in concentration sends Elcock crashing to the mat! The referee steps in and this one is over! Damn, Elcock is out of it, he thinks the ref is his opponent!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:05 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Hadi Ozturk!
In his post fight interview, Hadi Ozturk started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
