Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Aldo Vurny (ranked 245 p4p, 33 weight class) and Olaf Frost (ranked 655 p4p, 89 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 25 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Aldo Vurny!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 28 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Olaf Frost!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Gregory Folan and Elvis Blanc.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Olaf Frost seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Vurny definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Frost fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Vurny on the side of the head.
Frost tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
A little feinted left hand from Vurny on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The fight stays on the outside here - Frost looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Vurny steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Frost. That one must have hurt.
Vurny rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Frost moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Frost throws an overhand right that lands on Vurny's shoulder, as Vurny tries to avoid the shot.

so Vurny counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

Frost is looking to stand up but Vurny isn't so interested in that idea.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Frost dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Vurny. That did some damage!

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Frost bucks up and throws Vurny to the side - he's got back to his feet. Great escape!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Frost wants to get back to his feet but Vurny is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Vurny connects with a nice short shot to Frost's temple.
Aldo Vurny overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

That was a close round but Aldo Vurny did the better work so I'd imagine he'll take it.

Frost lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.

Vurny half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Horrible takedown attempt by Vurny or perhaps it was just good defense by Frost, which made it look bad.
As Vurny backs off Frost throws a huge counter combo but Vurny manages to avoid it all.

A very excited looking Aldo Vurny made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
