Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tim Drury (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paul Franko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Drury comes into the arena with Hey John, What's Your Name Again? blaring out of the sound system. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Paul Franko!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Daniel Franklin and George Francis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Drury tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Drury closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.
The ground and pound from Drury seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
Drury in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time.
Drury just content to control the position.
Franko throws a couple of punches but he's in a bad position and they don't land.
Franko can't do much from the bottom here.
Franko is looking for a sweep.
Drury tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Franko gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Drury counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Drury.
Franko utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Drury wants to pass the guard but Franko is keeping the position.

Franko looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Franko can't keep his opponent in guard - Drury advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Drury content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.

Drury decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.
Franko misses with a takedown attempt

and Drury counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Franko!
Drury looking to ground and pound but Franko is blocking nicely.
Drury landing shots from mount.
Drury throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Franko because Drury loaded up on that one.
Drury prevents Franko from getting the reversal.
Franko is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Franko looks gassed!
Drury can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Franko is looking to escape.
Franko is wriggling around trying to escape.

Drury fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Drury has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Franko wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Drury.

Drury has isolated one of Franko's arms. Franko looking to fight him off but Drury twists into an armbar. It's tight... Will he tap?? YES, he's tapped! This one is all over!
