Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kelly Gilliam (ranked 24643 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eric Esh (ranked 5240 p4p, 0 weight class). Esh has chosen The ButterBean Song as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Kelly Gilliam has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Esh has Gilliam up against the cage in a clinch.

Gilliam is fighting off a takedown attempt but Esh is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Gilliam to the mat. Gilliam regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
Gilliam is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Esh dives into side control.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Gilliam is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Gilliam is not content to let Esh control the position.
Gilliam gets back to full guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Esh connects with a couple of short punches.

Gilliam has his foot on Esh's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Esh works his way back into a safe position though.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Gilliam is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Esh rolls with it to try and escape but Gilliam cranks on the arm and Esh is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
