Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nicholas Compton (ranked 24428 p4p, 0 weight class) and Peter Parker (ranked 6223 p4p, 0 weight class). The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Nicholas Compton!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Peter Parker!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Robert Twigg and George Francis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Parker throws a left and a right that both miss

and Compton counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Parker wriggles free and stands up.

Parker drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Parker wants to control but Compton is keeping him busy.

Parker is trying to get an arm triangle but Compton is defending well.
Compton is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Parker off and has taken his back!

Parker is trying escape back to his feet. He turns into his opponent's guard and eventually finds his way back to his feet.

Compton closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Parker to the mat! Parker manages to get full guard.

Parker is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Compton is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Compton won't allow Parker to get back to his feet.
Compton in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Compton is looking to work some ground and pound but Parker has wrist control.
Compton could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Compton stops Parker from standing up.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

Parker feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Compton has his foot on Parker's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Parker works his way back into a safe position though.
Parker wants to get up but he can't break Compton's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Compton is trying to hold Parker in close to prevent damage but Parker has managed to pass into half guard.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Parker is keen to just control but Compton is a slippery customer.
Parker looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Compton keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Compton trying to hold on to Parker's head to control him but Parker postures up.
Parker works his foot free and advances to mount.
Compton tries to lock up and control but Parker gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Parker wants to finish this one by submission but Compton is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Parker.
Compton is looking to get to half guard.
Compton sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
Compton wants to get back to his feet.
Parker is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
Parker tries to pass to full mount but Compton defends it.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Peter Parker dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Compton moves forwards but Parker connects with a nice, crisp jab.

Parker drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Parker throwing strikes but missing.
Compton is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Compton seems keen to control Parker's posture.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Compton will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Compton manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Parker manages to get himself to full guard.

Compton throws an elbow that misses. Parker uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Compton's guard. Nice move by Parker!

Compton had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Parker defends it easily.

Compton tries to keep at a distance but Parker has taken the fight into the clinch.
Parker is trying to break the clinch but Compton has him pressed against the cage.

Compton prevents Parker from getting back to his feet.
Parker wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Compton manages to pass to side control.

Compton is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Parker sees it coming and defends easily.

Parker manages to escape and get back to his feet!

Compton gets a double leg takedown into Parker's guard.

Parker has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Compton off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Parker shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Parker stands up from Compton's guard - Parker perhaps looking for a knockout.

Parker bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Parker wants to lay and pray for a moment but Compton keeps working.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Peter Parker showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Compton's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Compton changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Parker looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Parker sneaks out the side door and pushes Compton away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.

Parker throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Compton tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Parker is in Compton's guard.

Parker gets to his feet. Compton looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Parker has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

Parker has one foot on Compton's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.
Peter Parker seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Compton lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.


Parker pushes Compton off and scrambles back to his feet.
Parker's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Parker duly obliges.

Parker fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Compton to the ground. Parker is now in Compton's guard.

Parker tries to free his leg and advance position but Compton is retaining full guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Parker trying to control the position from guard on top but Compton is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Parker avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Compton wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Parker is now in half guard.
Compton has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Parker is working away from the top position though.

Parker is working for a submission of some sort.

And that's the end of the fight!
Peter Parker comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Parker has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
