Coming up we have a light heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Tomasz Drwalewicz (ranked 19786 p4p, 777 weight class) and Peter Hare (ranked 2203 p4p, 302 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Peter Hare was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Tomasz Drwalewicz!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Peter Hare!
The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Kenichi Hosakawa and Tatsuya Matsuyama.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jab by Hare.

Drwalewicz tries to bum rush Hare with a series of wild strikes but Hare uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

and Hare cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

It looked like Drwalewicz wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

Drwalewicz wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Hare connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.

We've been informed that Hare has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

Hare throws a nice looking combination but Drwalewicz bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Drwalewicz crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Hare - the referee stops the clock and Drwalewicz gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Hare. Drwalewicz manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Tomasz Drwalewicz.
I think Hare has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
