The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hayward drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Hayward throws a strike but Wilkinson rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Hayward misses with a takedown attempt - Wilkinson sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Wilkinson stands and throws Hayward's legs to the side, diving into side control.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
