Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Carmen Moses (ranked 8080 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jim Bassett (ranked 6475 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Moses has taken the fight to the clinch.

Moses breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Moses could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Bassett lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Moses at a distance.

Bassett fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Moses to the ground. Bassett is now in Moses's guard.
Moses is breathing heavily.

Moses is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Bassett working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Moses's head.

Bassett thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Moses is rocked!

It looks like Carmen Moses has been cut.
Bassett stays in close to Moses's body and controls the position.
Moses might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Moses trying to keep a closed guard but Bassett is proving a slippery customer.
Bassett stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Moses swivels though and keeps the full guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Bassett postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Moses covers up, he's hurt! Bassett keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Bassett and the ref steps in to end the fight! Bassett can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.
