The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed right hand from Schwarzenegger misses the target.
Schwarzenegger swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Schwarzenegger rushes de Borg and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

de Borg tries to pull guard but Schwarzenegger holds him up against the cage and eventually de Borg drops back down to his feet.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Schwarzenegger pushes de Borg away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, de Borg gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Schwarzenegger is trying to get back to his feet but de Borg has full control of the position and if anything, Schwarzenegger has just worked his way into a worse spot.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

de Borg has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from de Borg there as he acknowledges the shot.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
