Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Leigh Thompson (ranked 4280 p4p, 201 weight class) and The Torrent (ranked 4842 p4p, 221 weight class). Thompson comes into the arena with General Lee - Johnny Cash blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Torrent looks to clinch
and Thompson counters with a nice double leg into side control. Torrent won't be happy with that.
Torrent is trying to improve his position.
Torrent avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Thompson.
Thompson tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Torrent parries the strikes from Thompson easily there. Thompson is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Torrent to escape.
Thompson is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Torrent looks calm but he's in trouble here. Thompson gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Torrent is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Thompson lets go of the hold and Torrent can pop his arm back in it's socket.
