Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Stasius Venom (ranked 666 p4p, 101 weight class) and Yasuhiro Akagi (ranked 748 p4p, 118 weight class). Venom comes to the cage accompanied by For Heavy Metal we will die!. The crowd seem to be enjoying Akagi's choice of entrance music: Nash the Slash - American Band. Stasius Venom is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Elvis Blanc and Dillan Fox.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Venom has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Akagi.
Akagi lands an overhand right.
Venom lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Venom bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Venom takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Venom moves away from the strike by Akagi.
Venom lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Akagi at a distance.
Akagi fails with a takedown attempt.
Venom throwing a counter right hand but Akagi manages to avoid it.
Akagi throws a big shot that misses.
Venom half committed to a counter leg kick.
We've been told by Venom's head coaches at Heavy Metal that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Akagi slips under a jab.
Akagi has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Venom moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Akagi throws a front kick aimed at Venom's knee but Venom avoids it well.
A big left from Venom misses.

Venom attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Akagi jabs at Venom's body.
Venom keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Akagi misses with a body shot.
Akagi throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Venom connects with a nice looking jab.
Venom takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?

Akagi uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Venom.
Akagi misses with a leg kick.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Venom.
Akagi ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Akagi works Venom's body with a nice hook.
Akagi keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Venom.
Akagi appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.

and Akagi counters with an inside leg kick.
A telegraphed right hand from Venom misses the target.
Nice shot by Venom.
Akagi closes the distance and clinches up with Venom, looking for a takedown. Akagi pushes Venom against the cage but Venom circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Akagi thuds a left hand into Venom's body.
Akagi misses with a body kick.
A low kick from Venom is predictable there

and Akagi counters with a shoot takedown. Venom fights it but they end up in guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Akagi is working for a kimura but Venom is defending it quite comfortably.
Akagi is pressing down on Venom's thigh, looking to free his foot. Venom is holding on for now.
Akagi is thwarting Venom's attempts to control the position.
Venom is not content to let Akagi control the position.
Akagi is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Venom reverses the position - he's now on top in Akagi's guard.

Venom controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Akagi looking for a sweep. Not yet Akagi, not yet.
Venom looking to sit in guard and control but Akagi gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Venom had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Akagi defends it easily.
Venom wants to sweep here but Akagi controlling him for the moment.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

Venom has his feet on Akagi's thighs here. He's pushed Akagi off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Akagi screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!

After the fight, Stasius Venom was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
