Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jamaican Jam (ranked 3162 p4p, 290 weight class) and Roman Boesku (ranked 3220 p4p, 292 weight class). Jam comes to the ring accompanied by Quartiere Coffee - In Jamaica. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Chris Saunders and Colin Fray.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boesku will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
A telegraphed right hand from Jam misses the target.
Boesku misses with a takedown attempt
and Jam counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
We've been informed that Boesku has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Boesku throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Jam sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Jamaican Jam has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Roman Boesku.
Boesku fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Jam avoids it really well and circles away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Boesku wants to control from the top but Jam keeps moving.

Boesku drops back looking for a leg! Jam is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Jam manages to kick Boesku off! Boesku jumps back into Jam's guard.

Boesku drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Boesku jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Boesku is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Boesku trying to control but Jam is working from the bottom.
Jam can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Boesku controls the pace.
Jam controls Boesku momentarily but Boesku frees himself.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Boesku drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Boesku seems to have locked his on tight now - Jam screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Boesku, as he picks up the win!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kneebar). Roman Boesku!
Jamaican Jam was interviewed post fight and said 'This fucking blind referee is friends with the fucking biased judges who are both paid by my PED-using opponent's manager. Fuck them and fuck the haters! What are you looking at asshole? Come at me, I'll mash you like potatoes!!
