The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Simmons blocks a head kick by Robinson.
Robinson shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Simmons pinned against the cage. Simmons gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Simmons throws a big counter combination but Robinson scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Robinson throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
It looked like Simmons was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Robinson stuffs the takedown attempt from Simmons. Simmons gets slowly back to his feet.
Robinson misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Simmons appears to be looking for a big counter.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Simmons moves into the clinch successfully.
Robinson wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Simmons has him pressed against the cage.

Robinson throws a right and a left that Simmons avoids nicely.
Robinson pulls out of a head kick attempt.
No joy there for Robinson, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Simmons takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

It looks like Nathanial Simmons has been cut.
Robinson throws a sloppy head kick and Simmons moves out of range easily.
Simmons slips a jab and a cross from Robinson.
Robinson dives in and grabs Simmons's left leg, looking for a takedown. Simmons pushes down on Robinson's head and hops out.
Simmons gets caught by a brutal right hook which buckles his knees! Simmons tries to backpedal with his spaghettilegs but Robinson is headhunting and goes for the kill. A jab and a right hook connect and Simmons buckles badly as his eyes roll back. The referee steps in and saves Simmons!! Simmons is complaining but he was clearly out on his feet. Robinson throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Mmmm spit-tastic.
