The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Prouxontas tests Dee's chin there with a solid looking shot.

It looks like Micky Dee has been cut.
Dee doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Prouxontas.

Dee closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Prouxontas quickly recovers to half guard.
Dee throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Dee not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Dee sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Prouxontas defending well though.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Prouxontas trying to control but Dee postures up.
Dee with the ground and pound but Prouxontas uses the opportunity to regain guard.
Prouxontas tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Dee lands a couple of digs.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Dee postures up in Prouxontas's guard and throws a big left but Prouxontas blocks it.

Prouxontas looking to hit a scissor sweep but Dee is one step ahead there.
Prouxontas looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
Dee looking to sit in guard and control but Prouxontas gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Prouxontas would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Prouxontas trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.
Dee pulls Prouxontas in close to prevent any damage.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Dee tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Prouxontas wants to get up but he can't break Dee's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Dee takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Prouxontas slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

Dee takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Dee misses with a right hand
and Prouxontas counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Prouxontas is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
Prouxontas stuns Dee with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Prouxontas lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Prouxontas.

That has opened up Micky Dee's cut even more.
Dee has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Prouxontas scores with a push kick.

Dee has his takedown stuffed
and Prouxontas counters with a right hand to the body.
Dee takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Prouxontas comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Prouxontas lands a slapping body shot.
Prouxontas is looking to wear down Dee with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Dee takes one to the chin there.

The cut above Micky Dee's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Prouxontas ducks down into range and throws a picture perfect right hook that connects with Dee's jaw. Dee's eyes stare off into space as he falls to the mat, out cold! Prouxontas does the decent thing and steps back, rather than landing any shots to his unconscious opponent.
