Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Klaus VonMueller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bobo Plata (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Plata has chosen Master of Puppets as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Taro Takaoka and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Plata shoots for a double leg takedown but VonMueller sprawls well. He's pushed Plata's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Plata gets a takedown into half guard.
Plata wants to control but VonMueller is keeping him busy.
Plata is working for a kimura but VonMueller is defending it quite comfortably.

The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
What can Plata do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!

VonMueller tries to get the hooks in deep but Plata pushed the leg off.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Plata shoots in but no luck this time.
Plata misses with an uppercut. VonMueller saw that one coming.
Plata fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Bobo Plata is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Good exchange - VonMueller coming out on top.
Plata throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Plata closes this distance looking for a takedown but VonMueller circles away.
VonMueller keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Plata.

Klaus VonMueller has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bobo Plata.
Plata is breathing heavily.

Plata closes the distance and clinches up with VonMueller, looking for a takedown. Plata pushes VonMueller against the ropes but VonMueller circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
VonMueller bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Klaus VonMueller is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Plata tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Bobo Plata seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Plata moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
VonMueller throws a one two combo.
VonMueller missing with a left hand there. Plata was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
VonMueller throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Plata stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
VonMueller lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

VonMueller displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
VonMueller connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Plata tumbling to the canvas! VonMueller pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Plata was done - good stoppage!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:12 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Klaus VonMueller!
