The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Cecil Peabody and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Veitayaki jabs Bersten to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Veitayaki seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Veitayaki connects with a solid leg kick.
Bersten moves forwards but Veitayaki connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Bersten misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Veitayaki goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Veitayaki avoids a kick to the body.
Bersten throws a sloppy head kick and Veitayaki moves out of range easily.
Bersten throws a left and a right that both miss
and Veitayaki makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Veitayaki drops Bersten with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Bersten! Veitayaki dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:31 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Rupeni Veitayaki!
