Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jim Bassett!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Shaco The Joker!
The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, John Kavanagh and Jonathan Paton.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The Joker fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Bassett, pushing him back against the cage.

Bassett's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!

The Joker pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Bassett looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? The Joker is fending him off so far but Bassett persists. Nope, The Joker circles away and we're back to standing.

The Joker closes the distance and pushes Bassett back into the cage.
The Joker keeps control of Bassett as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Bassett wants to take the fight to the mat but The Joker manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jim Bassett. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Still in the clinch, The Joker scores with a nice short uppercut.

The Joker gets through Bassett's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Bassett is working for takedown but The Joker is calmly controlling the position for now.

The Joker drops Bassett onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Bassett is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!

Bassett is rocked!
Bassett is breathing heavily.
Bassett blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Oh Bassett is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
The Joker pushes Bassett back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
The Joker creates some distance for himself and unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Bassett's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Bassett drops to his knees and The Joker pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Shaco The Joker!
