Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kotaro Hakku (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kenny Scylla (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hakku comes to the ring accompanied by Apocalyptica - Hope. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hakku throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Scylla looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Hakku is fending him off so far but Scylla persists. Nope, Hakku circles away and we're back to standing.
Hakku connects with a crisp jab.
Hakku throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Scylla keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Scylla bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Scylla is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Hakku is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Hakku is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Hakku has his foot on Scylla's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Scylla works his way back into a safe position though.

Hakku controls Scylla momentarily but Scylla frees himself.

Scylla drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Hakku dives on top into guard.
Hakku passes Scylla's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Hakku frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Hakku has control of Scylla's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Scylla regains control of the situation pretty easily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Scylla drops back looking for a leg! Hakku is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Hakku manages to kick Scylla off! Scylla jumps back into Hakku's guard.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Hakku is on top in guard.
